Description

Luxating Elevator Set – 3 Pieces

The VS Surgico Luxating Elevator Set includes 3 precision elevators with thin, sharp blades designed to sever the periodontal ligament and luxate teeth with minimal trauma. It is the essential set for atraumatic extractions and root fragment removal.

Product Overview

Each elevator in the set features a thin, finely honed blade that slides into the periodontal space to cut ligament fibers and gently expand the socket. The three graduated sizes cover anterior teeth, premolars, and difficult root tips, giving the surgeon the right blade for every extraction.

Luxating elevators are used before forceps application to loosen the tooth, reducing the force needed and preserving buccal bone, which is critical for future implant placement. They are also the primary instrument for retrieving fractured root tips.

Forged from surgical-grade stainless steel with ergonomic handles for controlled rotational force, each elevator is passivated, ultrasonically cleaned, and inspected for blade sharpness and edge integrity before packing.

FAQ

Q: What are luxating elevators used for?
A: Severing the periodontal ligament and loosening teeth before extraction, allowing atraumatic removal with minimal bone loss.

Q: Why use an elevator before forceps?
A: Luxation expands the socket and cuts ligament fibers, so far less force is needed and buccal bone is preserved for implants.

Q: What do the 3 sizes cover?
A: Graduated blade widths handle anterior teeth, premolars, and narrow root fragments or tight spaces.

Q: Are the blades resharpenable?
A: Yes. The stainless steel blades can be professionally resharpened to maintain their fine cutting edge.

Q: Do you offer custom sets?
A: Yes. Set composition, private labeling, and custom kits can be arranged on OEM orders.
