Product Overview
The Vienna pattern uses two smooth, tapered blades joined by a spring mechanism that holds the nostril open at the desired width without continuous hand pressure. The slim blade profile minimizes patient discomfort while maximizing visibility of the septum, turbinates, and nasal floor.
It is used in every anterior nasal examination to assess the septum, detect polyps or foreign bodies, evaluate turbinate hypertrophy, and guide minor intranasal procedures. The self-retaining spring leaves the surgeon’s other hand free for instruments.
