Description

Tilley Nasal Dressing Forceps

The VS Surgico Tilley Nasal Dressing Forceps are long, slim forceps designed to place and remove packing, dressings, and pledgets deep within the nasal cavity. The angled shaft keeps the surgeon’s hand clear of the line of sight during intranasal work.

Product Overview

The Tilley pattern combines a long, slender shaft with jaws shaped to grip gauze, ribbon packing, and cotton pledgets securely. The angled or bayonet-style shaft offsets the handle from the visual axis, so the surgeon can see the nasal cavity while manipulating dressings at depth.

These forceps are used for postoperative nasal packing after septoplasty and sinus surgery, for placing medicated pledgets, and for removing dressings and crusts during follow-up care. The secure jaw grip prevents packing material from slipping during placement.

Each instrument is machined from surgical-grade stainless steel with precisely aligned jaws, passivated, ultrasonically cleaned, and inspected for jaw alignment and grip security before dispatch.
